What this covers
StillShipping's decaying claims come in two kinds and only one of them already had a register. Kind one is the freshness verdict for every tracked repository. Recomputed nightly from the GitHub API by ops/refresh.mjs, so it cannot go stale by sitting still and does not belong in a hand-kept file. Kind two is the table of published claims about five named projects on the four comparison pages; those live as cells in src/data/competitors.json, each with its source URL, the date it was read and a literal probe string, and ops/qa/compare-gate.mjs --verify re-fetches every source and fails when a probe is gone. THIS FILE IS FOR THE THIRD THING NEITHER OF THOSE COVERS: the verbatim QUOTATIONS printed in the comparison pages' verdict and FAQ prose. compare-gate deliberately normalises case, dashes and whitespace before matching a probe, because a CMS restyling a hyphen is not a price change. Which is correct for a figure and blind for a quotation, where a company's own capitalisation of its own name is the thing being quoted. Four such quotations had drifted and were corrected on 2026-08-15; they are recorded below with the source read that day. RE-VERIFICATION 2026-09-02: all six quotations confirmed verbatim against the five raw READMEs. In the same pass ops/qa/compare-gate.mjs --verify caught a genuine drift in the OTHER register. CrewAI's README no longer says `uv pip install crewai`; it now installs the CLI with `uv tool install crewai` and the `crewai[tools]` extra is gone from the file entirely. That cell, its note and its probe were corrected in src/data/competitors.json and all 30 cells then confirmed live, so compare-gate stamped the table 2026-09-02.
The freshness verdict for every tracked repository is not in this register and does not belong in one. It is recomputed nightly from the GitHub API, so it cannot go stale by sitting still. The method page writes out how it is reached.
